Congratulations on your selection to the 2008 All-Star Oil Bowl Team. This will be the 71th meeting between Texas and Oklahoma in one of the oldest All-Star Football Games in the country. We wanted to take this opportunity to not only congratulate you, but also pass on some information that both you and your family may need. Items to bring:

1. All your football gear including any special pads. Two pair of white practice pants (one for game). You will be issued a game jersey that you may keep.
2. Toiletry articles.
3. Portable TV’s and video games.
4. Spending money
5. You can purchase a copy of the game tape for $30.00. You can bring it ahead of time or you can order it after the game. The Oil Bowl will send out the game tapes several weeks after the game.
6. You may bring any special pillows or blankets that you wish, however ALL linens, etc., are furnished by Pierce (or Killingsworth) Hall (940-397-7510). You will pick-up your linens when you check-in.

Oil Bowl Banquet

1. The Oil Bowl Banquet will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20th at the Maskat Shrine Temple located at 5101 Henry Grace Freeway. Tickets are $15.00 and available at the door. We encourage all parents, friends, relatives to attend the Oil Bowl Banquet as both Texas and Oklahoma teams attend.
   
2. The dress for football players is game jersey and slack. Dress for the banquet is casual, as Sunday dress is appropriate for women and slacks and golf shirt for men.

Misc., Information

1. You, or your transportation, will be paid round-trip bus fare from where you played high school football. This will be arranged on Saturday, June 21st.
2. All meals are provided.
3. Your eligibility is in no way affected by your participation in the Oil Bowl.
4. If you know a young lady who is interested in competing in the 2008Oil Bowl Queen Contest, please contact any of the above listed Oil Bowl Representatives. This is always a highlight of each Oil Bowl Game.
